Rick-Henry Ginkel gave his first Solo-Recital in Saarbrücken in 2012.
In 2013 he got the chance to play in the "schoolarship concert" during the "Bayreuther Festspiele".
The young musician is studying classical piano with Prof. Kristin Merscher and Jazzguitar as second instrument with Martin Schulte at the "Hochschule für Musik Saar".
In 2014/2015 he studied for one year at the Sibelius Academy of Music in Helsinki with Prof. Tawastjerna (classical piano) and Prof. Björkenheim (Jazzguitar).
In 2015 he produced his first CD with his "Cosmopolitan Sextet" at the studios of "Saarländischer Rundfunk".
In 2014 Rick-Henry played with his Cosmopolitan Sextet at the Jazzfestival of Saarbrücken, which has been recorded and broadcastet in radio.
He got several schoolarships, like of the "Bruno and Elisabeth Meindl foundation", "Richard Wagner association", or of the "Villa Lessing foundation".
The main projects in Jazzmusic are his "Cosmopolitan Sextet" and his duo "Rick+Eve":
Rick-Henry Ginkel is working on his classical piano career and his career as jazzguitarist in the same time.
